4 Creative Ways to Store Your Jewelry at College
As the start of another school year approaches, I’ve been thinking about how to store all the stuff I need to take to school, especially my large jewelry collection. One pair of earrings may be small, but it’s amazing how much space you need for all your earrings, and necklaces, and bracelets, andthe list goes on! I like to be able to see everything at one time so I can grab what I need and go on busy mornings, so easy viewing has always been a priority for me. Jewelry boxes are great, but when’s the last time you took the time to dig through yours when you’re almost late for class? True to my DIY spirit, I’ve never splurged on any formal jewelry holders, but I’ve crafted and re-purposed some of my own quite effectively, mostly from thrifted items. I have also spent the last six years selling handmade jewelry at craft fairs, so I’ve really put these ideas to the test on the road! Below, I’ll show you 4 creative methods to both store and display your jewelry collection at college

Ifeel like I’m getting closer with my decor decisions. Of course, getting closers means getting ready to spend some moola, which makes me nervous on a whole other level. At times like this, I like to distract myself with something small, inexpensive, easy to execute. Bring on jewelry display!I know it’s better for jewelry to be stored carefully away, but the truth is, if it’s out of sight, I’ll stop wearing it. Of course, I like everything orderly, so it has to be both accessible and tidy. I love these inspiring shots. How do you store and display your jewelry? SHOWCASES AND STORE DISPLAYS
2/17/2010 SHOWCASES AND STORE DISPLAYS Posted by Meryl (proud pinay) The last time I saw my cousin was when she was just a typical teenage girl. She was still going to school but with a small business of fashion jewelry and accessories that she’s just selling to her friends. Now, she’s in her twenties and I’m glad to hear that she will be opening her own jewelry store soon. My cousin is in need of help in putting up her business and she asked my sister’s help. Of course I’m very willing to help her too even though we are just communicating online. One of the things that must be considered in putting up a jewelry store is the proper and organized placement of items. In that way, the store will become customer friendly. Customers can search for items more easily and it is also a factor in ensuring that customers will come back to the store. I’m helping her to find showcases and store displays for her jewelry store so that her items will be well organized and easy to look at by customers.

Jewelry Boxes & Other Things……
OK, we’re all girls right (unless your a male visitor to my blog….), and we all love our jewelry don’t we? I know for a fact that I do and I’m curious to know how you store and/or display your jewelry. Most of my jewelry is stored in a jewelry box that sits on top of my dresser. My jewelry box looks a bit like an armoire and has three smaller drawers on the top portion next to a glass fronted door that opens to a space that has a revolving thing-a-ma-jig with hooks that I can hang necklaces on. The bottom portion of the jewelry box has two wider drawers. I love how it came painted just the perfect shade of creamy white and it fits in so well with my Shabby Chic/Cottage style of decorating. I have dreams of someday being able to have someone build me a custom made jewelry box as I would actually prefer one very similar to the one I have, but one that is much wider and maybe a bit shorter, but still retains look of a piece of furniture.
